The Arabic Vocabulary Profile

I am thrilled to share with you the Arabic Vocabulary Profile (AVP) – A1 Level 🌟

This isn’t just another word list. As you’ll soon discover, the AVP addresses a significant gap in Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language (TAFL) pedagogy.

Our methodology followed a rigorous validation process that involved a two-round international survey and 71 Arabic language educators across 18 countries.

This is a lexical project that tackles Arabic’s unique linguistic challenges—multiglossic variation, morphological complexity, and dialectal diversity—while maintaining strict alignment with CEFR communicative competence descriptors.

This is what you’ll find:
·      414 essential Arabic words
·      English translation
·      Easy search function
·      User-friendly interface
