    تتخصص الدكتورة ليلى فاميليار في مجال تعليم اللغة العربية لغير الناطقين بها وتدريب المعلّمين وتقديم الاستشارات الأكاديمية. حائزة على جائزة التميّز في تدريس اللغات من جامعة تكساس في أوستن، عملت الدكتورة ليلى على مدى ٢٥ سنة في مجال تعليم اللغات وتصميم المناهج التعليمية، فضلاً عن إدارة برامج لغة عربية في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية والعالم العربي.
